Specialty Classes

 

Weightlifting

Come work your positions, speed and power in the Olympic-style weightlifting movement (snatch, clean, jerk)! These 60 minute classes center around technique work, but also include core training and raw strength development. Classes are open and free of charge to CFD members -- no prior experience required. Opportunities to compete in USAW and local events are also available.
Weightlifting meetsĀ Thursday Evenings from 6:00-7:00pm.

Gymnastic Skill

Body control, core strength, and joint stability are paramountĀ for fitness gains and injury prevention. Gymnastic skill class focuses on these things through techniques on the parallettes, rings, and floor. All techniques are taught through progressions, and are suitable for all levels, including novice.
Classes meet on Tuesday Evenings from 6:00-7:00pm.
